Gathering thoughts…
A world of little thoughts.

‘Indian Matchmaking’ and ‘A Suitable Girl’ have much in common: producer Smriti Mundhra, match-maker Sima Taparia, and an overwhelming display of complex but problematic routines and notions around arranged marriage. Yet, one is cringe (but binge-worthy), while the other is deeply unsettling. The difference in…
Apple is about to have their own on-devices AI that will improve UX. I believe this will be another inflation point for Smartphone cycles. A lot of function no longer requires sending over to the server, things such as Voice Message from any Apps such as Whatsapp to Telegram being transcribed into Text on Devices.…
There's been talk on Twitter lately about the massive funds of the Wikimedia Foundation. I had no idea, and I think others were surprised too. It makes sense, though. I was always surprised at the professionalism of their work compared to the homemade vibe of the volunteer communities that run the wikis. They use…
Do I have to go about life the way I thought I was supposed to? Do I have to be the person I've been told that I am - that I've been convinced that I am? Is there another way to be? To live? Am I allowed to do that? Writing it down makes these questions sound absurd. When did we start pigeonholing ourselves into these…
We waste too much time waiting. We wait for the clock to strike the perfect 9 AM, 10 AM, 2.30 PM, or 11 PM to resume work after a break. We'll scroll through a few more reels if there are 3 minutes to 5.30 PM. I used to do that while studying. I would arbitrarily take a break and then resume at half past something.…
fuck on nights like these i wish i had the scent of a woman's hair to carry away all the pain and anxieties of tomorrow im just a broken man in search of a woman's touch just to hear her voice and lose myself in those giggles where is my lover? i just need to be held bury my head in her bust and lose myself in her…
memories over memories. its over but i’ll carry them in my heart forever. what would’ve been? we dont know. but i'll never stop hoping that everything will be alright.
There’s one simple rule for beginning journalers about what time to journal every day. Journal at the same time every day. You are building a habit. You want to be consistent. The time you choose to journal dictates your consistency. Consider these three factors when choosing your time. Your typical day: Is there a…
What is Life? if we were to die one day, And what is Life? if we're gonna live forever.
There are thousands of self-help books, videos, and podcasts giving me tips on how to be more productive and get more work done. While most of that is bullshit and not really actionable, there are sometimes good pieces of advice that actually make sense and can be applied effectively. However, most of this advice only…
Big bosses stick to their final game plan They have a very strong will point Not just putting one foot in And when it’s about business You need to learn how to talk With a very strong will inside your brain Not being affected just because of emotions And other people manipulating you You gotta stand strong of your…
being the nice guy is not going to get you anything. you think you are doing people good but no you are just killing yourself bit by bit. people will go on doing what they want to do. hurt you. worse, not even care about you. people are just trauma. you got to be an asshole to get what you want. put your own needs…
So often, children want to be independent. They don’t want help. At my age, I willingly accept help. I’m not afraid to ask for help, either. Perhaps it takes maturity to appreciate and accept the offer of help. Offering help feels good. Help, as simple as holding a door open or picking up a dropped item for another…
Yesterday, I sent my Mac to repair, cause I spilled soy sauce on it UPS :) and I have been writing my nicheless without any corrections or improvements from Chat GPT, which now feels very weird... its crazy that a year ago I didn't even use Chat GPT and now I can't imagine not having it in my life, it just makes my…
While getting reunited with an old friend from school, we started to rewind on the people in school if we still stayed in contact with them or any news about them, and I realized once again why I wanted to run away from that place and cut ties with the majority of my classmates from fake smiles to manipulation,…
Death is a known factor that disrupts all projections. The only problem is we don't know where it fits in the timelines of our lives. Today a friend left the office early. I joked to call out his half day. He smiled, winked and said he's just tired. He promised he'll pick the rest up tomorrow. He will never come back…
Hated when the meeting is not done properly This morning meeting with the subcontractors is a demonstration of you shouldn’t compare yourself to the people around you You should think it all through and strive for the best What is each party going to talk about What is the technical details Think it through DURING or…
Well started writing here as I got infected with mumps 😩. Who gets mumps at middle age? Have been on leave for three days. It also happens to be my wife's neice's birthday. Her 20th one. She had a good day. Lots of gifts and 4 cakes. Happy to have started writing here. Lets see where it takes. While I have personal…
Dead trees still cast shadows
I don't know if it'll make sense to you, but the feature of blocking people is just a blessing. I personally would endorse this feature and recommend it to everyone to keep their sanity at bay. Certain people can't disappear from your life at your will, but blocking them from your socials and contacts is SO CALMING.…
Easier said than done, right? I know this firsthand because this has been my problem for years—decades, even. You see, I've always loved writing. I started crafting stories and essays at eleven years old. The writing wasn't great, but I loved the process: formulating thoughts and ideas, turning them into stories that…
You can know everything there is to know about a subject, but without credibility, no one will listen to what you have to say. Understanding that credibility in most fields is demonstrated through group affiliations, not IQ points, can help you present the truth in the best light, without fabricating it. In the 4-Hour…

SCIENCE Formally Brownian Movement and commonly referred to as brownian motion, this is the random motion of particles (e.g., molecules, element) in an environment (e.g., gaseous, liquid) bumping into each other. references . about The Brownian Movement via…
Every time something bad happens to me i always think about how i could have avoided it had i known all the intricacies of the problem. I think i wish i consulted people apriori. As it is often said hindsight is the best insight. Another perspective to this is had i known all the intricacies would i be putting myself…
hot chocolate howling winds my italian neighbor was like "do you have an extra line? let's tie an extra line so that your boat is more stable" i was like yes please and our danish neighbor was like "wait wait don't put it there, because it could rip your stanchion. here, let's take this cleat instead" jumped on my…
Getting home from work and being in a kitchen all day it makes you realize how much more you want that dream to work. Cooking it’s cool it’s fun and creative but to be doing all day? Not that cool. . . Need to hyper focus more on the dream/goal
One big turn-off about nfts is the amount of focus people have on making money. Now, I'm not going to say that I don't care about money (I do), but money has never been the priority for me (although I will never not be happy making profit). It's almost always community, making connections and learning that have been…
Amazing how a simple thing like going to a new gym can cause such a torrent of thoughts in my mind. During the Holidays and the worst of the winter, many gyms, included the one I go, work reduced hours and/or not opening in the weekends. Clients are invited to use the network and go to the ones that remain with…
Assisti.
Call me A.S.J. Just turned 16. Dont expect some Shakespeare words in my blog.I mostly use this like a digital diary when i have a shitty day or im going through smth. My interest -linkin park -cry of fear -afraid of monsters -nu-metal -playing musical instrument (guitar & piano) -video games -midnight -silence -music…
(original: 2006 03 April) tasks and priorities constantly change. learn how to prioritize. - Silver Lining somewhat related to (or contributing to the antithesis of) SL Tip 7, prioritizing is critical when on the job. (actually, it's basically similar to making decisions about how to spend your money ... but wait!…
Yesterday I started working on ramen based on local ingredients from Goa. So far I've swapped the traditional pork topping for a Goan Choriz and I blended cashew nuts into the broth. As I gently pushed the boundaries here I constantly found myself asking what makes ramen ramen? The black and white answer is that Ramen…
when you're in the jungle -- or any type of "wilderness" -- it is of obviously survival benefit to take note of the little noises and sights in your environment. the jungle is NEVER boring because you always have to pay attention and there are many things to pay attention to after being in the jungle, "regular life"…
A boy with dyed hair wearing a skirt and a pink backpack. Unsecured panels on the walls expose bare wires. Toilet paper stuffed into holes, trash scattered on the floor, fading upholstery. The electronic display is non-functional; only a sheet of paper with the line number scrawled in Sharpie taped to the windshield…
In my 4th decade I realize that 40s is the real inflection point in our lives - few reflections. 1. Curiosity: Whether getting lost in encyclopedia during my younger days to now reading up about cars. Somewhere during the Social Media era, my curiosity had become perfomative, I caught this bug of sounding…
Refresca e renova real!! Ela escolheu o parque…
In Biology WBC stands for White Blood Cells and RBC stands for Red Blood cells , but this is not about biology . This is about a game , a game of football to be precise , where two brilliant teams went all out for the prestigious champions league trophy . On may 28th , the UEFA Champions League final was played in…
You wanna be charismatic and people person as much as possible. So when you leave the office - remember that you’re only doing it cos you wanna get rest at home. Everything you do makes sense - so heads up and say bye to your superior and colleagues (imagine what E will do) - oh bye! And the voice will not really…
Outside of work and family time, I have about five free hours each day to build my side projects, learn new skills, practise old ones, and enjoy my hobbies. I wish I had more, but as someone who doesn't have kids yet, I'll take it. 5 hours is plenty. But I've been trying to figure out how to spend those 5 hours. I'm…
Also, given I am at a distance now, can I give him the credit he deserves for the effort that he put in to fix it? Can I slowly let this ghost of 2017 Nelson lose power over me so that I can gain inner peace? Can I forgive? I am a very vengeful person, and I know I have felt like "I want Nelson to suffer for what he…
I recently started listening to an audiobook called 'Story worthy' and in that the writer states that every movie can be boiled down to 5 secs scenes of transformation. I realized this can be true for any movie, tv show or any other form of entertainment. So, I had a thought that if we think what our 5 secs would be,…
When you’re young it’s okay to make mistake Just be brave to get it back up And learn from it Be brave to dream And do what it is that you wanted to do What’s most matter (especially shown in Asian male context) Is your ability and the knowledge you leveraged against others It’s a game of either you know or don’t…
1. Protect attention Help users control their attention. Don’t rely on growth and retention strategies to hijack attention with unnecessary demands, distractions, and requests. - Can we design to minimize the consumption of attention, both on and off screen? - Can we consider where adding delays or friction could help…
