When you use
www.nicheless.blog (Nicheless), some personal information is collected from you. However, this site has been designed so that the information collected is minimal. This privacy policy sets out the details of the information collected, the manner in which it collected, and the purposes for which it is used. It may be revised from time to time, and you will be informed of the same. Your continued use of Nicheless signifies your acceptance of the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Information collected
- When you register, Nicheless only collects from you a valid email address that you control. You can, at your sole discretion, optionally provide a name, a few sentences in description, a link to your bio and any other information you choose to provide to embellish your profile.
- When you create content on Nicheless you do so of your own volition. Nicheless does not require you to submit any personal data nor will it process the personal data that might be contained in your posts.
- When you interact with other users, Nicheless will have access to information that is generated in the course of these interaction. Nicheless can view the posts you liked within Nicheless, the posts you replied to within Nicheless if you have chosen to identify yourself while replying, the list of authors you follow or subscribe to within Nicheless, the list of topics you follow or subscribe to on Nicheless, the list of groups you follow or subscribe to within Nicheless, the list of users who follow or subscribe to the content you create within Nicheless.
- Nicheless does not directly collect payment information. Nicheless uses Stripe (www.stripe.com) to process payments and as a result of this integration the following items of your data will be visible to Nicheless through the tools provided by Stripe - the last 4 digits of your credit card, its expiry date, the card type, the card issuer, your billing address, your billing email address, your name, your country and the amount paid to Nicheless.
- For delivering emails, Nicheless uses Postmark (www.postmark.com). Your email address may be stored within their servers. When you subscribe to receive posts from Nicheless authors in your inbox, Nicheless has access to information regarding the delivery and opening activity of those emails through Postmark.
- Nicheless sets cookies for authentication purposes as well as to enable essential functionalities of the platform. Nicheless sets up a cookie to mark the user’s session ID, a cookie with the session signature to prevent tampering and a cookie to tell the browser who the current user is. For analytics, Nicheless uses Plausible Analytics (a lightweight, privacy-first web analytics tool) that does not use cookies and doesn’t collect any personal data whatsoever.
Use of InformationThe personal information collected will only be used to provide you the services that you have subscribed to receive from Nicheless and to continually enhance your experience on Nicheless.
Data Retention, Deletion, and Export
- All information collected will be retained only for as long as your account remains in existence.
- If you would like to delete your account and the data associated with it, please write to mail@nicheless.com and request for your account to be deleted. Your request will be completed within 30 days of the confirmation of its receipt.
- If you would like to export the content created by you on Nicheless, or your list of subscribers on Nicheless, you can do so by clicking on the export button on your Dashboard under the Post or Account tab. A CSV file with the data will be downloaded to your system.
- If you would like to receive any other data related to your account, please write to mail@nicheless.com requesting the same. Your request will be completed within 30 days of the confirmation of its receipt, provided the data requested does not infringe on the privacy of other users.
