two underrated skills to have pt.1
honestly, i'm not even sure if it's a skill to have, but two underrated skills are longevity (or persistence) and focus.
first let's start with longevity.
i was listening to a david dobrik's podcast a few days ago and he was saying that he didn't really speak to any friends he made in his first year in LA. not because he didn't like them anymore, but because they weren't in LA anymore. david followed up by saying that his friend told him that his only goal when coming to LA is to survive at least one year in the city even if things were going bad and that's what he did. He just outlasted a lot of the others that were also trying to make it.
similarly, in the web3 space, sometimes you only need to be the last one standing to "make it." with how easy it is to participate in daos, you can see that there are many people wanting to help out in many daos at a time, but when they realize it's getting hard to do so, that's when people start moving away or just stop participating at all.
if you're persistent and are able to continue contributing to a dao, it's very possible that you will be able to become a full-time member, just by being the last one standing. now i'm not saying that the dao will automatically take you because you are the only one left, there will be others as well that will come.
but it's just a reminder that sometimes, persistence combined with skill is all it really takes to get what you want.
