The end goal is always the same...
To be as close to being 100% authentically yourself as possible.
It's a small observation that I've seen in any domain that I really dabbled into.
When I was in cegep and was pretty big into fashion, you would always start copying others, but the goal was always to "find your own style." To know what you love wearing and just wearing it because that was you.
It's the same thing with writing as well. You start comparing yourself to better writers than you (this is the stage that I'm at), but I know that eventually, I would just want to be myself and write in my own personal style that I develop.
The more you're able to lean into what you really want is how you will definitely make it in whatever you want to pursue.
The hard part is breaking all of those barriers and getting to a point where you are comfortable being yourself in that medium.
Imposter Syndrome will try and prevent you from doing it, but you just have to break through it.
