On Conviction
"Hating myself for not going into Azuki at 8ETH last week" or something along the lines is one of the most common tweet I've been seeing over the past couple of days.
Or "Sold my Azuki at 5ETH ngmi."
It's easy to say this with hindsight, but in the back of my mind, I know that 90% of the people who say probably would've sold at 10ETH or 15ETH.
I know this, it happens to everyone in the nft space. I sold one of my CloneX at 6ETH before it inevitably mooned to 18ETH 2 weeks later.
The difference between me holding my Azuki since mint all the way to 35ETH and still not selling and someone who sold earlier or regretted not buying into Azuki at a lower price point is: conviction.
What truly separates an nft trader from making 7 figures vs 6 figures is an nft trader that has conviction on one of their projects.
Now with the space moving so fast, it's hard to have conviction and going all-into one project, but it's really what separates you from selling too early and waiting until an 100ETH floor to sell.
Obviously there's also so much that could happen in-between like actually irl issues that may force you to sell earlier than you want, but having conviction in a project is what could take you to new heights.
Signs of having conviction in a project is when it hits an ATH and it almost doesn't phase you (trust me, I still think of selling my Azuki when I see insane numbers, but it's more like a fleeting thought) and another thought is when you actually want the price to go down because you believe so much in the project and you want to get more.
