Tunnels of Depression

There's a sickening feeling of being surrounded by darkness. What feels like an everlasting doom consuming your peripherals.

You're trapped, maybe not physically, but mentally, or both. If, one stands in place, that place becomes your home. A home that echoes into the voids of your mind driving you insane.

The purpose of life is to see, be, and feel light.

Within tunnels, we fail to see light outside of ourselves. Only the light we radiate from within guiding us.

If one lacks light, the shadows consume the psyche to a complete halt, as if it's best to stay in place out of fear of hitting a wall.

But the wall is imagined. Or at least, many people live that way... Petrified of the onward.

A sunless existence that brings nothing but gloom to your surroundings.

It's excruciating to advance even a step because you feel it is useless—this daunting feeling in which progress isn't made because you accept that reality as truth.

Rather than understanding the elastic nature of your mind to push ahead and lead yourself to the glow.

It's a vulnerable process with oneself that rips apart your set perceptions and what has been instilled within you.

The courage to move forward defenselessly while understanding the pain endured is what energizes the light.

We undergo bondage to the darkness because it's what we've learned to manage. This gives us an excuse to not acknowledge our advantage to be more than average.

The radiance of self comes from the trust of a higher purpose and the belief that despite current blindness the veil fades with your actions.

Every experience is a rite of passage that brings light to your self-image.
