To *some* of you old friends & colleagues: I don't want to accept your friend requests anymore

I admit it's tough to 'accept' you into the spaces I frequent. Some of you I've muted, some I've just outright not talked to... and it's not really anything you did, I just personally don't want to be involved in your life anymore.

Wherever you're going is not where I'll be. I'm happy for you, but we're just not heading in the same path, and looking at yours somehow does nothing for me. I wish it was different, but it's not. I realized I don't belong in your world, nor do you have a place in mine. Don't force me (nor yourself) to be there, not even to give you reasons to justify your desire to have me in your world.

I still cherish our short time together. It was fun being your friend, and there are moments with you I'll never forget. Please allow me to silently support you, and please, silently support me.

To friends I've left on 'pending' on my be.real, friends I've muted in IG, Facebook, Twitter, friends I never bothered to add nor follow despite our acquaintance... sorry. Be happy, and leave me alone. This is for you.
