I think of leaving all the time.
I'm kind of tired seeing people sharing unsolicited advice about growth, productivity, finance - all of these things that supposedly make you successful. My definition of "success" is so different from those in my surroundings now, but... it feels so strange to leave so fast when this is all I've known, too.
But I think of leaving all the time. I dream of eventually having this grand exit out of the tech life, but also, I'm bound by the thought of losing the friendships I've made here.
It's crazy to think of leaving so soon, and if I should leave at all. If I should stay, how must I filter out the things I don't like? How can I muster up the courage to say "no more"? I've made my place, full of doubt, granted, but I have - and wouldn't I be so rude as to take it all back?
How dare I leave everyone's definition of success?
Yet how could I betray mine?
So, of course,
