Ruby JIT, running Discourse

The figure above are without DB access. I.e Pure Ruby execution time. The difference between a HTML and JSON response is nearly 50ms!
Compared to StackOverflow [2] , which has a Median response time of ~18ms including DB access.
I hope with multiple JIT experiment and Discourse finally on board to test and help, we may see substantial improvement in Rails performance under JIT. Ruby is indeed fast enough for most things, but Rails is just in a category of its own.
