Routines. Love them or not
There's a lot of talk about routines out there on the internet.
And it's both for morning or night time routines.
Although the morning ones, by far, have the most attention.
In some circles is believed that your routine makes or break your success.
The gist of it is that if you don't have a morning routine you won't get very far.
And there's also the talk that if you don't have proper night time routine, you can't start the day with the right foot.
I've heard a lot of variations on these concepts over the years.
And guess what?
For quite a long time I believed this to be true.
I mean, there were many people sharing a similar take on the subject, across different groups.
Like the productivity, the entrepreneurship, the online money, and the self development one. Just to name a few.
So it seemed to be something very legit.
The issue here though, is that it's not as clear cut as you would be led to believe.
It has some elements of truth in it but it's not entirely true.
And the way to see that is like one would normally do. Trying to disprove the theory.
I found a counterexample for that a month ago or so. That is, a person who succeeded despite a traditional routine.
That motivated me to try it out for myself.
And guess what?
I still was able to get good progress without my traditional routine.
I can keep going with this but to keep it short.
And like Hormozi would say.
Your routine is what separates you from waking up and start to get work done.
Make sure you're not using it as an excuse to procrastinate on the work that you have to do.
