What do you do when you accomplished everything you ever wanted?
Have you ever thought that for yourself?
Do you even have an idea?
It seems fitting for an entry on the first day of the new year.
Because there's a lot of stuff on social media and the internet about the so called "New Years Resolutions".
That at this point is more a meme than any other thing.
Most of us know (and the others are living in denial) that the lofty "resolutions" to have a better life, or get in shape, or make more money, or whatever it is.
They are nothing more than wishful thinking.
But enough about that.
What happens when you reach the point you accomplish your goals? What else do you do?
If you're like many, you would say like "you set new, higher goals".
But when does that end?
You get to a point where you're in peak fitness condition. Showing others what you can do with your body looks as if you were bragging.
You no longer have to work another day if you don't want. You have enough money to live well, travel wherever, eat the best of the best.
Have assets that keep your capital compounding. Have systems online that automate the "getting money" process.
And have a network of few but very valuable connections that allow you access to the top activities/events this world can offer.
What happens after you enjoyed "the fruits of your labor" enough.
What can you do with the remaining time in this earth after the hedonic adaptation sets in?
I'm aware that this a question that less than a 1% percent of the global population can answer.
Nevertheless, I still think it's an important question to try to answer.
Or at least ponder about it.
