Mother-Daughter

Sometimes you come across a pair that is clearly very close to each other. Observing them interact, it's unclear who is taking care of whom. The daughter still seeks to impress and seek validation, while showing her mother how things are done. The mother still instructs, but also follows instructions, probably thinking to herself "how much has this world changed". The same genes inhabit both of them and in some ways they look like two extensions of the same organism that continues to exist and learn about the world it inhabits.

If you could look at a picture of this mother and daughter from 20 years ago, and then observe them in flesh today, there's something special for which I can't find the words for.

So far, I've not seen this between a father and son, but that relationship has something unique too.
