Managing many different things
On days like these I normally switch from "work mode" to "chill mode" and just relax, take it easy, and don't worry if I'm being productive or wasting time.
But today, it was a little different because I had to wake up early and go out to run some errands.
That made it more likely to go back, get breakfast, and be ready for getting some work done.
I started looking on the stuff I had unfinished from previous days and was trying to make sense of everything.
Good thing and bad thing is that there was an issue with my internet connection and the router itself. That forced me to make full stop and look at what was going on.
Through some teamwork with my family members, we got the whole thing figured out and were able to get back online.
So that was it right?
Time to connect all devices again and keep going like nothing happened...
You'd be wrong if you thought I would do that.
Since 2020 I learned that whenever you have those situations that make you do a full stop...
They weren't meant to be "obstacles in your way".
They are meant to be messages sent to you in the only way you would understand.
Disruption.
Something that forces you to stop and reassess.
Think. Is this the right path for me to continue with?
Should I pivot and do what my gut feeling tells me to?
That mostly happens when I'm managing many different things, working in different areas, and waiting for something to happen, take momentum, and start producing results.
Lesson learned. For me, on Saturdays I don't work.
No business will be taken care of.
There's 6 days to work and the 7th is to rest and recover.
