BLR
Post graduation, I recently moved to Bangalore for employment. The weather which has been its trademark selling point was unsurprisngly good. Its rain however seems to be lacking in discussion, while Bangalore's overall weather is hilariously unpredictable. You'll find yourself wearing summer shorts on rainy days and carrying an umbrella on warm sunny days.
On the matter of Bangalore folk, perhaps a term someone will describe in a few years, they're constantly bustling somewhere. And much like the weather cold and curt on most days. The weekdays are meant for work and the weekends are booked for bars - but I guess you could say that for any metropolitian city. On the surface there seems to be a dearth of things to do outside of bouncing from pub to pub in indiranagar, I should find more once i find the time to scratch beneathe the surface.
What gave me the idea to jot down this brief piece on BLR was google's graphic of all the places i'd visited in August. The places have largely been limited to Indiranagar and Cubbon park [accessible by metro/walk and i don't have my own transport]. And the odd few places where i was compelled to go. Its a neat snapshot of my travelling patterns, akin to a football player's heat map on the pitch. And i should embelish it in the years to come.
