Why we are stuck in human development

Our outward appearance tells others a lot.
Wear a suit and show your business personality
Wear an orange robe and show your religious personality
Wear harem pants and show your free-spirit personality

This is all signaling.
By signaling we let others know that our "culture" exists.

Now here's the problem..

We, humans have been maturing.
Moving through cultures with different sets of values.

But what if the next set of values doesn't have a clearly expressed culture?

There's no way of saying "Hey guys look at my fancy outfit, I don't hold dogma, Love complexity and value all perspectives"

Private values always had a way of showing themselves in public.
This enabled the "culture" to spread.

The next step in our psychological evolution is already here. But you won't recognize it when you see it on the street.
