Thank You, Nicheless
I hope that next time when an MBA or any business class is looking for a case study on 'how to identify and fill a gap in the market', they study you.
There is no dearth of platforms where people like me can publish their writing. But can I truly write about the things I think about? Can I think out loud there? Without fear of judgement? Without worrying that my thoughts aren't lessons or frameworks related to my profession?
Twitter once used to be a platform where people shared their thoughts–funny, quirky, sad, weird. Today it's (somewhat) a marketing school.
Medium used to be a place where we could write about things outside our work. Today, it's one of the content distribution platforms.
Every platform eventually becomes a marketing channel. I hope you don't. Cause people like me like to write our thoughts sans the judgement.
Of course, one could argue that I could journal. But there's a sense of relief in hitting the publish button. Maybe one person will read and relate. Who knows?
So, thank you, Nicheless, for offering that source of relief. For not about being about clicks, likes, and subscribes. For offering a safe space for thoughts irrespective of how well or poorly expressed.
