New habits and odd jobs
I've been wanting to write regularly for a bit now but haven't started. I don't know if I things worth saying is part of the reason. Other is procrastination. I hope no one reads these for a bit. It's odd when you realise people you know in real life follow your twitter and you do wtf. dont. Something like that ig.
Why did I want to write? Mostly as an act of reflection. I've done way too many things the last 5 years. Doing many things or signing up to more things has been a constant theme. But I've definitely started to cut down slowly to doing lesser things.
Someone I know online recently told me this concept of doing two things. One for the kitchen and one for the soul. Made a hell lotta sense. They had heard it from their friend. I wonder how they came upon this. It's brilliant. This framework helps on prioritise things.
I recently tried sales. It was something I've never done before and my friends thought I'd be good at. Tbh it made super anxious as a person. I forgot to breathe while talking. If you've done this, you'll know kinda vicious bloated loop it sets. PM would be a nice role to do which fits how I think.
I do want to explore working in growth. The thought of taking an idea to more users is exciting. The idea sure needs to make sense. Not fucking SaaS. Also, find a place with good culture. I've been in a lot of places and most lack it. Is it an Indian thing?
Back to the core questions as always? What is ownership to me and what's worth building with my time? Lot's of me me in it but that's fine ig. Still holds.
