with just a book
In the past, I struggled so much to fall asleep. Every night was a real-life nightmare, with my brain refusing to shut down and winding up in all these hypothetical scenarios that brought me anxiety. But strangely, that doesn’t happen when I read before going to bed. Reading before sleeping, apart from making my eyes and brain tired, empties my head in a rare way, allowing me to smoothly shut off.
It’s a good habit that helps me fall asleep—two birds with one stone.
Right now I'm starting the biography of Steve Jobs, so far so good :)
