Thank God It's a Friday
It's the Friday afternoon, the feeling of welcoming the weekend starts setting in, a few have made plans for Friday night, while a few are making plans for a mini vacation, a few are just thinking to just sleep and forget away the week that has gone by...
U start to hear the excitement around the floor and the noise starts to fade into a deep silence with just a few glued to their systems and wondering what could they make good use of this weekend.
Me being one of them sits in the corner of cubicle n breathes in the silence n enjoys the silence of the work floor and dimness around. Trying to soak in the feeling of weekend, but then moves out of the office and feels the cool breeze hitting his face and enjoying the little things.
The load of Monday to Friday needs to be undone and some undo with a drink, some with good food and a few like me writing this post😀.
Never did I plan any weekend, just idled myself doing something or the other and just went about it. Planning and executing is not my forte. These two days should be like do whatever you want and wish to, and do not follow an order or a protocol. Just go with the flow.
If weekends are also about planning then there is hardly a difference between weekday n weekend. I have always been unplanned and just did things I felt like. Sometimes I feel bad that nothing productive came out, but then I also feel happy that i just relaxed, walked and did whatever I never do on my weekday schedule.
Unwinding doesn't mean party hard, it also means that just sit down and do nothing, ideally a state of zeroness.
