Structuring thoughts
Alright this is the second time in a row that I forgot to write I did not create the time block I talked about. But, no more excuses. I'm doing it right away to remind me everyday to write at 9.30pm.
Right now when I'm thinking about what to write here, there are a thousand ideas swimming in my mind. Rather than picking one and write about it, I'm going to write about the chaos of ideas in our mind. Our human selves are not unidimensional - we have a personal, professional, spiritual and materialistic self. All these 4 facets of me manifest in different ways for me to write about. I need a structure in displaying all these 4 facets of mine one at a time. I also have to make a caveat here that all these 4 facets do not exist in silos and are often connected.
The word chaos reminded me of the Stoa residential bootcamp I undertook a couple of months ago. The founder called it as 'Structured chaos/Ordered chaos' (I'm forgetting the term here). May be that's what my writings/thought processes need to reflect. How do you embrace chaos while giving it some structure? How do you frame these disparate thoughts and bring them into some identifying frames?
These are some things I need to learn. I attended an event where David Allen was speaking about his productivity framework on 'Getting things Done'. While this is not exactly related to my structured thought process, I have a feeling that it might help me out. Hopefully I can try this and let you know.
Here is to me bringing some order to my mind :)
(PS : I do not know the number of people who are reading this. But I would appreciate your thoughts/comments/suggestions my way. Thanks!)
