Spaced repetition
Recently, I have been applying my method for learning Chinese characters to my university studies (well to my final degree exam). It's funny that I'm only starting to use it now that I've finished all my courses, but it's never too late to implement this technique in other subjects. I always thought that with my degree in business administration and economics, intuition was more important, and that I learned more by doing exercises and past exams rather than memorizing everything.
However, I’ve noticed that the more I study my Anki cards, regardless of how much information one card might contain, I can retain it quickly. What surprises me the most is that the more I review the cards, the better I understand the content—they provide not just memory, but comprehension. I really underestimated the power of spaced repetition, and I hope it continues to help me from now on :)
