Peter Pan?
how come most people (me included) can name Lewis Caroll off the top of their heads but cannot name J.M. Barrie, when Peter Pan is just as iconic as Alice in Wonderland?
I've never read Peter Pan and now I want to. I put on my winter scrunchie, a red tie, and I feel like Wendy now.
How many Alice in Wonderlands are there? I read the first one all the way through but then...I think I got bored with the second one.
I am experiencing a lot of pressure to finish Carl Jung's memoir because there are 12 people waiting for it and so even if I were to renew it, I wouldn't get it again for another...33 weeks? and I am out of shelf space on the boat so I cannot buy physical books unless they absolutely do not exist in e-form AND I absolutely must have them.
But I reckon I HAVE been reading "too much" (as in, doing nothing else with my down time) and I'm balancing my mental diet out with some YouTube videos. I am mostly just watching Booktube though lol and animal documentaries.
I enjoyed some platypus and Brazilian tapir videos this morning.
I feel like a little kid, hoarding weird animals and facts about them in my mental archive. I also love going to aquariums and science museums, just like a little kid.
Also I realized this morning I am definitely an ambivert if not straight up extrovert. I love meeting interesting "characters". My friend and I would be so excited to talk to new people in college, back when everyone had a personality. Where are they now? Where are personalities? Where are characters?
A lot of them are sailing.
