i used to feel like i have to figure out who i am first and THEN get a persona and THEN write but i've got it all backwards
i'm supposed to just write and filter out the persona through the writing like a piece of artwork and it is not exactly myself but an art project
just catch the thing and THEN shape it. and not confuse the shape with the essence of the thing. the shape is just for giggles.
