normal taste

the most normal taste i have is in music.
i'm really into the 1975 right now, but specifically 3 songs:

• about you
• robber
• all i need to hear
  ("somebody else" is great too but it doesn't fit the vibe of those three songs i just listed that i feel is the best aspect of the band; i basically want to feel like i'm driving on the highway at night crying about my ex; "somebody else" is crying but not on the highway maybe it's in the garage)

but for everything else, movies, books, "travel" (what a gross word), i seek the unusual. i guess i am bored otherwise.

but music really isn't boring even when it's mainstream.
music is more like food.
it is immediately pleasurable without any intellectual processing.
