I'm Choosing to Publish Essays that Match My Purpose
I tossed out an essay ready to publish.
It was no better or worse than my usual essays. It may have even drawn a few more likes and comments than usual. The topic was wrong for me. The essay was negative.
I decided my writing I publish needs to focus on the positive. I don’t have time for negativity.
Every day I write about a variety of topics. I’m not changing that aspect of my writing. I’ll continue to write about the negative. I won't publish them as essays. Bad stuff happens. It feels good to get the negative out of my system. Once it's out rehashing is unnecessary. It’s time to move on.
Sharing positive essays matches my purpose.
I plan to share the gratitude and good we have in life’s small experiences. I need to share the words, actions, and experiences worthy of gratitude. They surround us.
Positivity comes from your mindset. With practice, it becomes the way you think.
You control your ability to see and hear the good in your life. I choose to write actions and words that are good. Someone looks for this good. I need to be the one who supplies it.
In my last published essay, I wrote about sharing small experiences that make you happy. Every time we do this, we spread more positivity.
Making the choice to share the good gets easier and easier.
