Don’t forget your party favor!
Thanks for coming to my birthday party yesterday. I'm glad you could make it.
I've learned a lot in 65 years. I started writing so I could share it with you.
You might have to spend some money on my gift to you yesterday. Today's party favor is also a list of life lessons, but these only require your time.
Kindness. You always have a choice. Be kind.
Gratitude. Show gratitude. Journal gratitude. Gratitude will change your focus in life.
Relationships. Build and maintain your relationships with friends and family, especially your children. As you enrich others’ lives, your's will be enriched.
Experiences. Get out and do. Try new activities. Many experiences are free, waiting for you to visit, participate, or volunteer.
Exercise. You know what they say, “Use it or lose it.” View exercise as a way to stay in shape and do what you love.
Self-Improvement. This comes in many forms - reading, learning new skills, creating good habits. You can always be better. Do what works for you.
Journaling. This is a great way to work on self-improvement. Get to know yourself, problem-solve, gain clarity in your thoughts. Journal what you do each day for lessons 1 through 6.
Cheers to the year to come! May yours be as fulfilling as mine.
