i'm trying to understand what it is that i so admire in a person
i will name people i admire and see if i can spot a pattern:
(1) M
- truly conceited
- has a dream, has a plan (and carries it out, somewhat)
- content
- telepathic understanding
(2) H
- truly conceited
- has many dreams, many plans (AND CARRIES THEM OUT)
[a lot of yaruki. yaruki is more of a turn-on than even libido] - telepathic understanding
- said i'm "intelligent" and liked that about me
(3) D
- passionate (gets really excited about things; appreciative and wholly ENJOYS things such as music and people)
- has a dream, has a plan (and is consistent)
- content
- listened to me discuss my theories with excitement
(4) Karl!
- truly conceited
- seems to be living the dream and is perfectly content
- can take a compliment
- calm and suave ; nodded and smiled when i said "i don't know if i want to travel this winter after all. i've done so much traveling this year and i just want to chill" ; does yoga and meditates ; understands the value of chilling ; spent 6 years sailing in JUST Greece (lives unhurried) ; smiles like he's lived a full life and continues living a full life and wants for nothing
I THINK THE COMMON THING IS THAT THEY LOVE LIFE and they place their happiness confidently and responsibly in their own hands
They enjoy life with dignity.
How can one enjoy life without dignity, you ask?
- By being self-conscious about what one has and knows
- By looking to learn and copy trends without making oneself the foremost authority on "What is important/true" (of course we cannot KNOW what is true, but to have processed information through one's own noggins is important)
if you enjoy life without dignity, then you don't enjoy life.
