Do you worry about what others think about your journaling habit?
I didn’t want anyone to know of my new habit when I first started.
What would they think? If my new habit turned out to be a waste of time, I would look silly. They didn't journal, so they wouldn’t understand.
I thought that when I started journaling gratitude.
I worried about the reaction of others. I soon discovered others didn’t notice. Within a month, I journaling change my outlook on life. Within two months, others were noticing a difference. When someone asked, I started telling people I was journaling gratitude. I even suggested they try it.
You would think I’d be confident when I added free journaling to gratitude.
Once again, I wanted to hide that I spent up to 30 minutes writing my thoughts. I was safe writing in my office where no one saw me. Then I was faced with a decision. I would be traveling for ten days, staying with family and friends. Do I let them see what I’m doing?
The benefits were too great not to journal. I had to write.
The response I got was either nothing or admiration for my dedication to the habit.
I write every day. No matter where I am or who I’m with.
