Creating Positive Experiences for Others Only Requires Mindfulness
Creating positive experiences to share with others is easy.
Consider your smile.
Everyone wants to experience something that puts a smile on their face. You control your own smile. You can also make others smile.
It’s easier than you think. Make a list of what makes you smile. Here are a few things that make me smile.
Getting a compliment from a stranger.
Hearing someone laugh.
Getting a like, comment (even an emoji) for a post.
Receiving polite service.
Waving hello to the neighbors.
These experiences make others smile, too. I use my social media accounts to spread smiles. (That’s what accounts are for.)
Smiles are contagious. So contagious that when we share one, we smile more.
Do you know actions you can take besides making someone smile?
It takes a small action to make someone smile. That small action makes a big difference in their day and your day, doubling the benefit!
