new strategy for finding books: follow booktubers who don't like the same books as me
(that's very easy to do lmao)
i feel myself branching out!!
hearing people talk about why they like something primes me to like it too. seeing their smiling faces hypnotizes me into liking what they like
i thought i wanted to do a whole music exploration thing too but i find it really hard to stay motivated to keep exploring new music for SOME REASON [it was also much easier to find music when people showed me music in person, same principle. my mirror neurons fired hard seeing them enjoy the music. but i've only met people lately who treat music like a background thing. also i am too focused on books to really explore music]
