attraction & adaptation

thick full lashes seem like an adaptation strategy to desert living...(like camels)

i wonder why people think thick full lashes are so sexy

are we attracted to desert dwellers?

i read that when modern humans left africa, they mated with neanderthals (who come from the valley "thal" of neander) and thus gained genes designed for colder climates

thus in people who have neanderthal dna, it is the genes for synthesizing hair that come from neanderthals...because neanderthal hair was already adapted for the cold

by mating with them we got instant benefits

i wonder, then...if we are attracted to those with qualities that bring us where we want to go...

honestly it must be why

(but now it's not about the genes, it's about passports)

that's why people are so lusty after norwegians (i don't know what was considered beautiful before the norwegians found oil)

and why all of a sudden there's a craze for east asians (because china/korea/japan are becoming a force to be reckoned with)
