A little push
Encouragement is something everyone needs, but not everyone has, and it’s a crucial part of our development. For me, encouragement is like a gentle push or a small gust of wind that propels a boat. It provides direction and a bit of force, but ultimately, it’s up to the boat to decide how to use this wind to sail. From youth to adulthood, encouragement is like a sign that we are on the right track, a bit of light when we can't see anything. With life's uncertainties, taking a step can be daunting, but encouragement can open up perspectives on all the possibilities.
Encouragement also plays a significant role in improving relationships, especially in parenting, and build a sense of cooperation. It depends on our environment—family, friends, teachers, and the people we interact with. So why is something so crucial absent in some people’s lives? Why don’t we want to help others reach the top? In parenting, do some parents actually believe that scaring their children or telling them the worst-case scenarios will prepare them better for life’s challenges?
And if they were raised with this same method and had a difficult time, why do they want to continue this kind of parenting?
Encouragement can change lives. It’s essential to recognize its value and ensure we provide it to others, creating a more supportive and nurturing environment for everyone :)
