A Daily Journaling Habit is for Everyone, Even You
You may think a journaling habit is not for you. Maybe you tried and quit.
You’re not a writer.
You’re not a creator.
You’re not a deep thinker.
You’re selling yourself short. You may be all of these and more.
I considered myself all of these until I started a consistent journaling habit.
A journal is a place you can be with no shame or embarrassment. You can discover who you are and what you want to be. Then you can create that person.
Your journal is a private space to let your thoughts land on the page just as they are.
You may be surprised what lands there.
I believe in journaling. It made me realize I’ve never shared or worked toward my dreams. It’s opened my creativity. I’ve returned to hobbies I loved but gave up.
A conversation with yourself opens the door to the journey you want. Keeping a daily journal leads you down the path that takes you there.
Emotionally - I write away the negative or relive the positive.
Mentally - I prepare my mindset for what I want to achieve each day.
Physically - I psych myself up to continue the healthy habits I must keep.
Professionally - I plan steps to take on the path to my goal.
Creatively - My ideas flow as I write, essay topics, artist’s dates, and creative outlets.
The decision to share what’s in your journal is yours to make.
I share my journaling experience to demonstrate what it can do for you. Journaling has given me a purpose to share with others.
I’m on a mission.
Everyone should have a daily journaling habit.
