a beer can
Today, while I was stuck in a traffic jam, I saw a car throw something out the window. At first, I didn’t think much of it, but as I got closer, I realized it was trash—a can of beer. My mind started to explode with questions and thoughts: Why didn’t that person save the trash until they got home to throw it away? Why throw it in the middle of a highway? Where do these people come from, and why do they do that? The more I thought about it, the more clueless I felt.
What kind of people are out there? I know this isn’t the worst thing one could see on the streets, and not everyone throws trash on the ground, but it made me wonder: If some people can’t even do something as simple as saving our trash to throw it properly in a bin, can we expect them to take bigger actions for our planet? I’ve heard many times that little actions lead to big ones, but are we actually doing those small actions? Are they enough?
As for now I'm trying my best to do my part and I hope that other people too ...
Pd: btw I really wanted to pick it up but as I said I was in the middle of the highway :(
