4 Gifts Less than $40 for the Person You Love
February is the month to show your love to that special person.
You know exactly who I'm talking about. The person you depend on. They are always there when you need them. You can’t live without them.
Yes. Show yourself some love.
Here are four gifts under $40 to consider to brighten your day:
- Coffee/Milk frother. A hand-held frother comes in at under $20. Thirty seconds in coffee or hot chocolate froths some happiness to start the day or any time you want to treat yourself.
- Quality journal. Under $25, everyone needs a journal. Even if you don’t journal daily (and you should), you need paper. A quality journal is perfect. My favorites are the classic Moleskine, Appointed, and Midori MD Notebook Journal. They lie flat when open. The paper feels nice in hand and is hefty enough for ink not to bleed through. The Appointed can be monogrammed.
- Merino Wool Socks. $20-$40 to treat your feet. I’ve found 30% merino virgin wool to be perfect. My favorite brand is Giesswein. Three pairs of sports socks for $20 or three pairs of hiking socks for $40. They are lightweight yet warm, and they breathe. No more sweaty feet! Your feet will thank you.
- Mom’s Stuff Pinon Body Oil. $37 Part moisturizer, part “herbal self-care,” I love this oil. It has a clean woodsy smell that doesn’t linger. The oil soaks into your skin. It’s a great way to pamper your skin on a daily basis.
One or more of these four gifts are perfect for celebrating your love for yourself.
Bonus tip: These gifts will brighten the day of anyone on your Valentine list.
