Don’t overthink thinking that they are talking about Rolex, fashion, or any materialistic topics & you have to join them. If you don’t know then just try to know rather than acting like you know
Rather than focusing on the non have - why don’t try to understand what they are talking about?
It’s just superficial stuffs you don’t have to worry about so much - rather than trying to think of the negatives
“Oh they are so superficial, I’m not like that”
“Oh I’m not interested”
Or even - I’ve seen worser: try to change the topic:
That’s so stupid because why do you even have to care so much
Never try to impress others. Respect yourself & people will respect you. Make yourself attractive and people will come to you
Rather than just being try hard
People would genuinely want to be friends with a GENUINE real person
Not a guy who tries to show people they got
Just like relationship
You don’t have to prove her wrong or make her interested
Just be a Jim & try to be you yourself. Sometimes getting that desire for human connection; but most of the time think for yourself - that should be you
