Why Nicheless will win
There's too much clutter on the internet. Useless, trashy, spammy, junk. I've seen myself often searching for high-quality reads on Google and having to append "site:reddit.com" or "site:substack.com" so that I'll, at the very least, have a result written by a human from a website that I trust folks to write well on. Twitter is another mess — so much spam and junk. Add to this mess, the thousands of folks who think they can create good "content" by sewing together a hook, a finger emoji pointing downwards, and a thread with the most obvious things.
That's why I think a platform like Nicheless will win. In the pursuit of sharing ideas, thoughts, and values, you need not only a medium that celebrates writing but also a bunch of folks who are here because they want to be. I've been using this platform for just a day now and I can already see it becoming my go-to. Louis, if you are reading this, what a great job and beautiful execution you've done to build this!
In my opinion, the best thoughts on the internet come from folks who are least concerned with publicity, reach, or fame. They share pieces of their minds, with no expectation of transactional return. I truly believe Nicheless caters to exactly this bunch of folks. And that's why this is the place to be.
