The Human Heart
The doors open wide
And you see the light
Finally after a long long time
And your heart rejoices
In glee and delight
It dances to songs that it never had
the ability to hear before
And now it has forgotten the pain
Of the chains
That bound it from becoming
Who it was always anyways
It danced and danced
As if there was no tomorrow
But then
Tomorrow came
And the heart saw that
The winds were blowing steadfast
And there was a storm like it had never seen before
Nothing could prepare it for such magnitude of sorrow
And nothing it tried worked at the time
All the tricks of the trade it knew
It tried and tried
To weather the storm
Because it has seen the light
And now there was no going back
It had to prove that it was after all
The heart
The human heart
Which they say, knows everything
And now even the heart didn't know what to do
And where to go
To vain went all its efforts
To redeem itself
And then
You know what happened
Well..
Ask your heart
