Today we had a lawyer friend of my dad and his 19 year old son who is about to study law visiting. In our conversation we started discussing AI and the future. This not only highlighted my deep immersion in the tech world but also surprised and somewhat triggered me by seeing once again just how naive some educated individuals can be about this.

Their inability to grasp the concept of exponential change and their dismissive jokes showed a significant disconnect between tech enthusiasts and the broader public.

As the developments continue to advance, I am increasingly convinced of the importance of bridging this understanding gap. Ensuring that AI's benefits and challenges are comprehended by more than just tech enthusiasts will be crucial for harmonious progress.
