One with the Cosmos
All things and beings that exist are born from the vastness of the universe, shaped from its matter, yet we wander through life believing ourselves to be independent, everlasting souls, existing within but separate from the very cosmos from which we were created. This illusion of separatedness is the mind’s deception, fueled by the promises of an afterlife through religion, doctrines, dogmas, and habits that harden into time-bound beliefs. The ego binds all of this together, and the illusion solidifies into a prison, trapping us within the narrow walls of our dreams and desires, confined to the small circle of those we love and care about.
To break free, we must shatter this illusion and widen our embrace to include all of nature. Mother Nature draws no boundary between the living and the so-called non-living; all arise from the same cosmic source, all threads of the same vast tapestry.
Only then will we taste the freedom that comes from dissolving the ego, that is the force that makes us feel greater or lesser, superior or inferior to whatever or whoever surrounds us. In that freedom, in that equality, the fear of death begins to fade, revealed as nothing more than a return to the oneness from which we came. an eternal state that endures far beyond the boundaries of the mind, a mind limited by its thoughts to the confines of matter and time.
