A Messenger Called Time
The paradox of life is,
It gives,the lightness of joy and the burden of pain;
and takes,so we may learn the worth of what was given.
Every gift of joy or burden of sorrow, arrives with the promise of its leaving.
And though we may celebrate or grieve its passing,
It was never meant to be kept....only experienced.
Time the silent messenger of this truth.
walks beside us,neither cruel nor kind,
simply faithful to its task:
Reminding us, everything we touch is passing,
and that beauty lives,not in holding on,
but in once having held.
For sorrow, pain, joy or the stillness of the present moment,
life will always make Time reclaim what it delivered.
What remains is never a loss,
but there is gain in understanding,that to have lived at all, is already to have been given everything.
