How I ended up here
Last night I finished reading a book I rather enjoyed—You Too Can Have a Body Like Mine by Alexandra Kleeman, which I thought shared traits with Tom McCarthy's Remainder—and this morning I followed Goodreads' call to action within one of their "You finished reading this, what's next?" emails by following the author and taking a look at reviews others had left for the book.
The one awaiting at the top of the heap with what I presume to be the most activity of late ridiculed and belittled the book and its author, which made me curious about the ensuing comments, the last of which was left by someone who latched onto a point of criticism calling Kleeman's book "aggressively pointless" as something they actually enjoy and look forward to.
Said martial arts move commenter had a micro blog set up here and I enjoyed the minimalism and simplicity of what I saw and decided to give it a whirl. And Nicheless' call to action encouraging the committal of thought to ether helped also.
