I'm also on urbit, just in case I miss out.

I'm also on urbit because I am a pseudocoder, but I like fp and weirdness. My real field is [humanities], and after five years I'm only beginning to come to terms with liking it, and being able to undertake real scholarship.

I'm sure plenty of people are here as a 'twitter alternative', and sure, why not? The design seems calmer, and calm computing is good computing. Someday I hope my research will become calm, maybe even my mind and my heart too.

Doing some research tonight, but came across this helpful commentary on 1 Corinthians 15:22-23 from St John Chrysostom (Homily 39): "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive."
