Glorifying West
The first "fact" that I learnt in childhood was "the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. Our day lies in these two extremes. The window of observation between these two extremes is underrated. As the sun swim towards the west, it paints the world around us in multiple strokes of extravagance. From the pesky beam during the morning hours of my room's window to the immaculate shine on cheery blossom trees at Siri Fort road,I wish I could savour every bit of it. I will never shy away from basking in its glow.
However, the absolute gut-wreching eroded weather that is the Delhi summers makes me want to choke my esophagus with someone else's headlock. I have dealt with a lot of trepidations in my life but this is nothing short of seeing my maker.
I am absolutely fine sitting behind the glass pane of my favourite coffee place watching the sun set in the West. This makes me delve deep into the myopic world view I possess, while I live in denial of the privileged position I am in.
I am more of a winter person anyway.
