Exciting times
Exciting times! I just bought 2 holidays this weekend. In March I'm going to Cyprus for one week with my two older boys. D won't be joining us - She will've just changed her job and -although they say she can work anywhere she wants- she doesn't want to test them on this yet.
But I need a week in the sun every Feb/ March. I love Estonia, but these two months become quite depressing and gloomy, it'll be good to get away. And the boys can just get "sick" at school... 😉
February is -10º in Tallinn, so the 20º in Cyprus will feel tropical. the boys are SO excited - Q was already looking at hotels/ resorts by the beach.
When I was 10 our only holidays would typically be a 2-week road trip or 3 weeks camping...
Then in May I'm going 6 days to Bucharest. I've never been to the 'real' Eastern Europe [yes, I live in Eastern Europe, but Estonia has modernized fast] and I think Romania is still pretty much "Eastern", so I hope to see cool nice decrepitude. I wanna do a lot of urban exploring.
On Saturday evening I hang out with Davide - He bought yet another property! It's in Jõhvi, I'll go with him on the 18th to give it a look. Also, he'll set up some appointmetns with real estate agents that day. Apparently ther you can buy a flat for 9k€... with a tenant inside paying you 100-150€ rent. It feels unreal. I may come back from that trip with a new apartment... and a new tenant too! Fuck - 11% yield... more than a bank will give me.
So many things!
