today an image created sparked a memory of an architectural concept about modernity (Weak and Diffuse modernity by Andrea Branzi). it theorized an idea for urban planning by taking 'weak' forms such as incomplete design and elasticity, then applied them to how a city can be formed. an ambitious though would be to apply a weak mode for function to our cities. rendering them flexible, roads could adapt to conditions quicker than our means to build. or to program a universal layout where any business can temporarily set-up and disappear shortly after as if it never existed. weakness in this concept is a powerful tool of transformation...
