a humbling walk through history
Walking through the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh today, and being surrounded by all this art, innovation, monuments, and historical achievements in one place, I was struck by the complexity and vastness of our world.
Realizing just how small our individual roles really are is humbling. We can only understand and influence a tiny, tiny, tiny part of human history.
Yet, there is something deeply moving and inspiring about this. The richness and beauty of history, with its countless narratives and achievements, gives us a sense of connection. It reminds us that we're part of a larger story that continues to unfold - connecting us to something much bigger than ourselves.
