woop, old blogs. ooh, no word limit for titles?
It's been over a decade since I last started a blog, so curious how this will feel. Blog feels like an outdated term for this—I guess I mean, "long-form tweet!"
Just perused the aforementioned blog I made as a young person. I'm so glad to have a record of that time, even though I didn't write much about anything that was happening—just lots of links, lists, enthusiasm. I called everything cool, ended posts with, "anyway," and generally sounded much more optimistic about the future, just in tone. Interesting how your writing (and ~"internal") voice shifts without you realizing it.
I remember now—I used to not be able to NOT make a comment in the middle of writing, if a thought came up. I just had to get it out, convey every branch. Often, I'd set out to write something, interrupt myself, pull it in, be reminded of something else, make a quick parenthetical, or several nested ones, finish the thought, but then oh, complete the thought nested before and before, and then I'd be so tired and done with myself that I'd end the post. But the satisfaction of getting out every tiny aside was greater than the exhaustion.
Maybe that's a classic blog move. I also had a more prominent issue with matching my verb tenses. It's still a problem, but a bit better!
Blah, introspection! I continue to feel the need to save everything, and reflecting on one thing mires me in a pit of the past that's hard to escape. Too much material.
Initially I just wanted to drop links, so here, for later:

mymind.com/how - curious. AI tagging for personal docs
raindrop.io or slate.host - maybe
