Vibe Coding is Addicting

After burning all my codex free tokens last night i had a thought.

I think vibe coding is the same as scrolling Instagram reels or Reddit threads. There is a feeling of anticipation of how the result of the agent will be and what if it makes our project fast like a slot machine which engage our brain more and more spiking our dopamine and we riding this wave of dopamine.

But if i actually think a little deep the project at the first hand was not that important and i still don't have any idea how it work just that it have now more features.

Not trying to sound like i hate vibe coding ,vibe coding as a whole can be a good thing for building stuff but the process has so much instant gratification that it can make us stuck in a loop of prompt and replies that we stop asking asking important question are the feature important, is it happening securely , do i need to stay awake for this?

After many sessions of vibe coding i still find it very addictive and feel bad that i almost always lose track of time with it.
