Thursday morning dream

I'm on a date with a woman I don't know IRL. We're walking around in the south side of my home town and go into an old bank building I used to frequent.

It's a combination library, pool hall & convenience store. There's a yellow & black strip down the middle of the floor dividing the room in half - like it's dividing a border (international?).

My date & I are near the back of the room looking at something on shelves. I see my dad walk in through the back door. I tell my date that she's about to meet my dad. I feel like I'm on a platform because I have to crouch down to talk to him in Italian. He says to me we have to go home because he has to tell me something. I tell him to tell me here.

I hear my mother had a heart attack, but I'm about 75% sure I didn't hear him say it because I sort of heard it as I was waking up out of the dream, scared & anxious.

Calmed down after a bit of breathing mindfulness.
